What each change does

An SSD reduces waits for startup and disk activity. More RAM helps when the computer runs out of working memory during multitasking and starts relying on the drive. If your laptop already has an SSD and enough RAM, a combined package is unlikely to be the right answer.

Check both parts before shipping

We need the exact model, current drive type, used storage, installed RAM, and your main complaints. We check the storage connection, memory slots or soldering, and capacity limits. We then provide one quote for both parts, labor, and shipping. Do not order components from a generic model-family description; individual configurations can differ.

For a readable old drive, cloning is included in the standard SSD upgrade labor. A failing drive or software corruption changes the plan. Combining jobs avoids sending the laptop twice, but the total price still depends on the specific parts and work.
