Hard Drive to SSD Upgrade by Mail
If a Windows laptop still uses a mechanical hard drive, replacing it with a compatible SSD can make startup, program loading, and routine file access feel much quicker.

What the $99 labor covers
For a standard compatible laptop, the $99 starting labor includes installing the SSD and cloning a readable old drive. Cloning copies the working system, applications, and files to the new drive so you do not start from scratch. The SSD, shipping, and any extra work are quoted separately. A drive with errors may not clone reliably; we assess that before promising a transfer.
What to check before ordering
We need the exact laptop model, current drive size, used storage, and the symptoms you see. The replacement SSD must fit its storage connection and have enough capacity for the data you want to keep. Some modern laptops already have an SSD, so a drive change may not address a slowdown caused by memory or software.
Back up irreplaceable files before shipping. A clone is a migration method, not a substitute for an independent backup. If you hear clicking or the drive disappears, stop using it and tell us; continued use can make recovery harder.
