If the delay began suddenly, check for updates, storage errors, and unusual disk activity. An SSD has no moving platter and usually responds more quickly to many small reads during boot. Our standard HDD-to-SSD labor starts at $99 and includes cloning when the existing drive is readable. The SSD and shipping are additional. Cloning a damaged drive may be impossible or unwise.
