Laptop Running Out of Storage
A nearly full drive can interfere with updates and leave little room for files. Replacing a small drive with a larger SSD may solve the space problem while improving responsiveness if the current drive is mechanical.

Measure before choosing a size
Check total capacity and used space in Windows Storage settings or File Explorer. Leave room for future files, operating-system updates, and the programs you use. A new drive must have enough usable capacity to hold what you want cloned; advertised capacities and displayed Windows figures can differ.
Other options first
Remove unneeded downloads, move large archives to a trusted external or cloud backup, and empty trash after checking its contents. If the laptop already has a healthy SSD, a larger SSD is primarily a capacity change rather than a guaranteed speed fix.
Our $99 starting SSD labor includes cloning a readable existing drive. The price of the SSD depends on capacity and type, and shipping is separate. Send your exact model plus current total and used space for a useful quote.
